I don't even know what he did. I got lost halfway through. Did he fuse with Mirio's body or something? it sounded like that's what he was saying0

By which I mean, if there aren't any drawbacks he could've begun doing that much earlier instead of waiting until the very last moment.0

Unless Chisaki is an idiot there's some severe drawbacks to what he just did and we're probably going to get to see those drawbacks. If there aren't, well... He's an idiot, especially since it's already been made clear he doesn't mind crossing the moral event horizon so the argument 'he didn't want to go that far' wouldn't work unless we're going into crazyville with his reasoning0

So does Overhaul have two quirks now? If so then it'll be really bad if Deku spills the beans about One For All.0

It is a substance her body creates, so it is safe to assume she is immune to the effect. So yeah, Mirio basically risked his potential to save a lot more people just to spare her some pain IF you judge him with the assumption he knows everything that the reader does. But that isn't the case. Mirio can't be sure what is in the bullet, wether it would be harmful or even lethal for the girl. And anyways, if you can erase a quirk with her ability, they will either come up with an antidote, or find another quirk that can restore him. This is shounen.0

@Guest_68694: it is not about being smart, logical and calculating. It is about staying true to his own words, to promises he made, to his Hero Agenda, if you want to call it that way. He promised Eri he won't let her get hurt ever again, and that includes this particular situation. Of course, from practical point of view, it could benefit all in the long run if Eri's quirk got erased, but she will get a new "scar" in the process, and it won't be just physical "scar" but more "Emotional Scar" that could be the one that breaks her. So from the "Hero" point of view, he did the utmost right thing.0

If he was smart he'd let her get hit with the bullet then the quirk removal ability is gone forever and she's no longer in danger... ?0

@68630 I'm not too sure because the shooter got some head trauma so his aim is probably off.0
